MeDeVet Alumni

Alumnus Vlad recently visited Liverpool Life Sciences UTC to speak with aspiring students interested in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science. He shared insights from his studies in medicine at the University of Oxford and highlighted the dedication required to succeed in such competitive fields. His presentation was both informative and inspiring, offering practical advice and encouragement to students.

Vlad joined us in Sixth Form and achieved A* in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths.

Discussing his reason for joining the MeDeVet programme, Vlad shared, “One of the reasons I chose to be part of the programme was because I attended a MeDeVet Saturday event in Year 11. It gave me the opportunity to meet the pathway leads and experience a typical A-level lesson.”

We wish him luck in his future endeavours, not that he'll need them. Vlad already has all that he needs to thrive.

Sickness procedure

From a safeguarding perspective, students who indicate they are feeling unwell will not be sent out of class as an unwell/injured student unaided may faint on the stairs or corridor. Staff will call first aid and first aid will go to the student. Students should not contact home themselves when they are unwell; staff will call parents if needed.
