What is Autodesk?

Autodesk, Inc. is an American multinational software corporation that provides software products and services for the architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, media, education, and entertainment industries. Autodesk is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and has offices worldwide.

Andy has now successfully completed all required certifications and has been officially accredited by the CADCAM Educators Hub, marking a significant milestone not just for him, but for our schools and students alike.

This prestigious certification means that our students now benefit from direct access to industry-standard teaching delivered by a fully certified Autodesk expert—right here in the classroom. It places Liverpool Life Sciences UTC and The Studio at the forefront of technical education, offering learners a unique advantage as they prepare for careers in engineering, design, and manufacturing. With Autodesk Fusion, students can create 3D designs, collaborate, manage data, create toolpaths, and run simulations to validate designs. Preparing students for careers in design, engineering, and manufacturing.

Autodesk’s UK Education Manager for Autodesk Education Experiences, Iwan Roberts, shared the following message:

"We're thrilled to have such dedicated professionals as part of our ALP (CAD/CAM Educators Hub) team. It's wonderful to see your staff continuing their teaching roles within the college, contributing to both their personal growth and the development of your students, as well as broadening this impact to the rest of the UK Education Landscape."

We are incredibly proud of Andy’s achievement and the opportunities it opens up for our students. It’s another example of our commitment to excellence, innovation, and ensuring that learners are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in tomorrow’s industries.
